Characteristics
Allergen medicinal product intended for allergen specific immunotherapy (AIT) that contains mixtures of standardised allergens from grass and tree pollens and nonstandardised allergens from grass, tree and weed pollen, dust and animal epithelia, bacteria, fungi and yeast, dust mites and insect. Biological activity of standardised allergens is expressed in standardised quality units – SQU.

Characteristics
Oral allergen preparations for allergen immunotherapy (AIT) are prepared from sterile basic extracts of the relevant allergens. Concentration or biological activity of active substances is expressed in unit standardised quality units (SQU) or protein nitrogen units (PNU).
Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) is recommended as a preferred method of treatment in children and adults with confirmed IgE-mediated allergic reaction. Allergen immunotherapy is practiced in patients with confirmed hypersensitivity to allergens that are present in significant quantities and cannot be eliminated from the environment, and cause clinical symptoms that justify treatment.
